Workflow
Sending tenant updates
A short, well-timed update is the difference between a happy tenant and a follow-up call.
When Repair Round offers a draft
You'll see a "Send tenant update" prompt at four moments:
- Request received and triaged
- Vendor scheduled with a time window
- Work completed
- Owner approval pending (when relevant)
Editing the draft
Every draft is editable. AI keeps it short, factual, and free of commitments Repair Round can't keep. Things we won't put in a draft:
- Specific arrival times we haven't confirmed
- Cost estimates the tenant doesn't need
- Vendor names before the vendor has accepted
Channel
Updates respect the tenant's preferred contact method (SMS or email). If both are present and the message is urgent, you can pick "Send both."
Manager review
No tenant message is sent automatically. A coordinator or manager always clicks Send. The history tab shows every message, who sent it, and when the tenant read it.
Saved templates
From Settings → Notification Preferences → Templates, you can save phrasing your team uses often. Picking a template still produces an editable draft — you decide what goes out.
